If you want a stylish SUV with powerful performance and luxury amenities, you can’t go wrong with the 2023 Lexus NX. This compact SUV comes in a range of trim levels, allowing you to get the exact features you want. Review this guide for a full comparison of the different trim levels for the 2023 Lexus NX.

2023 Lexus NX 250

The 2023 Lexus NX 250 kicks off the lineup with impressive performance and powerful capabilities. It’s equipped with a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine, generating 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Lexus NX 250 comes with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, depending on your preference. The SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark gray finish. Bi-LED headlights flank the impressive front grille, and roof rails come standard. The heated outside mirrors automatically tilt down when you’re in reverse, allowing you to see clearly while parking.

Interior

Inside the SUV, you’ll find a range of premium comfort and convenience features to enhance your driving experience. The Lexus NX 250 comes with durable NuLuxe interior trim, an environmentally friendly material offering the same look as leather. A leather-trimmed steering wheel, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and heated front seats come standard inside the Lexus NX 250. The dual-zone climate control system comes with a smog sensor and automatic recirculation mode to keep you and your passengers comfortable.

Technology and Safety

The Lexus NX 250 comes loaded with advanced technologies so you can stay connected while you’re on the go. It comes with a 9.8-inch multimedia touch-screen display. The infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. With a Drive Connect subscription, you can also use the touch screen to control vehicle features with your voice.

Like the rest of the Lexus NX lineup, the 250 trim comes equipped with the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. This state-of-the-art system includes multiple driver-assistance technologies to keep you safe on the Oklahoma City highways. The system includes:

  • Adaptive cruise control to keep the SUV a safe distance from other cars.
  • Pre-collision system to detect vehicles, cyclists, or pedestrians in the SUV’s path and apply the brakes in some instances.
  •  Lane departure warning with steering assist to provide alerts if the vehicle strays outside its lane.
  • Road sign assist to provide details about speed limits and other road sign information in the area.
  • Intelligent high beams to provide increased visibility on untraveled roads.

2023 Lexus NX 350

Next up in the lineup, the 2023 Lexus NX 350 gets a more powerful engine and some other perks, making it a popular choice for many drivers. Underneath the hood, you’ll find a 2.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, producing 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The engine pairs with the same eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive comes standard. You can also get this trim in an all-wheel-drive hybrid version, called the Lexus NX 350h, which comes equipped with a 2.5-liter engine and two electric motors. The hybrid system produces a combined 240 horsepower.

The Lexus NX 350 comes with all the same features as the 250 trim level, but it adds active sound control, which transmits the sound of the engine through a dashboard speaker so you can feel acceleration more strongly. You can also choose various options to equip the Lexus NX 350 with even more premium features, including a 14-inch touch screen, heated steering wheel, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

2023 Lexus NX 350 F Sport Handling

For a sportier version of the Lexus NX 350, choose the F Sport Handling trim. Like the NX 350, this trim comes with a 275-horsepower engine and standard all-wheel drive. It also comes with a sport-tuned adaptive variable suspension system for more dynamic handling. Additional Sport S and Custom driving modes enhance the steering and suspension for a thrilling ride.

The Lexus NX 350 F Sport Handling makes a big statement on the road, with unique roof rails and trim, F Sport fender badges, and 20-inch alloy wheels in a gloss black finish. It’s the first trim in the lineup to come standard with rain-sensing windshield wipers. Inside the Lexus NX 350 F Sport Handling, you’ll get a custom F Sport perforated leather-trimmed steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and dark graphite aluminum trim. It also comes standard with a 10-inch head-up display.

2023 Lexus NX 450h+

The 2023 Lexus NX 450h+, a plug-in hybrid, offers maximum efficiency without sacrificing power. It uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors to produce a combined 302 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid SUV comes standard with all-wheel drive. With a high-capacity lithium-ion battery, the Lexus NX 450h+ has a 36-mile electric range, and it can achieve a combined 84 mpg equivalent. When using an expedited charger, the plug-in hybrid can fully charge in about two and a half hours.

The Lexus NX 450h+ comes standard with the same features as the 350h but gains an adaptive front lighting system, a power tilt-and-slide moonroof, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The plug-in hybrid has perforated leather-trimmed upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and black open-pore interior wood trim. It also comes standard with the 14-inch touch screen, the 10-inch head-up display, and intuitive parking assist with automatic braking.

2023 Lexus NX 450h+ F Sport Handling

At the top of the Lexus NX lineup, the 450h+ F Sport Handling offers ultimate power, style, and luxury. It has the same hybrid powertrain as the NX 450h+ with all the unique features of the 350 F Sport Handling. Building on those trims, the Lexus NX 450h+ F Sport Handling also adds an F Sport heated steering wheel, unique heated and ventilated front seats, and an energy monitor display.
