2022 Lexus LX Features
For 2022, Lexus is launching its latest flagship SUV, the stunning LX 600. Arriving at Eskridge Lexus in the first quarter of 2022, the all-new LX 600 has been fully redesigned inside and out. It’s lighter than its predecessor and features a smaller, but more powerful, engine and an indulgently luxurious cabin, along with plenty of even more advanced technology.
The LX 600 is offered in standard LX, Premium, and Luxury trim levels, along with the brand-new F Sport Handling and Ultra Luxury models. Let’s take a look at what drivers from Oklahoma City and beyond can expect from this luxurious and extremely capable full-size SUV.

Redesigned from the wheels up, the 2022 LX 600 has a powerful and athletic yet elegant design that gives it a dominant road presence and makes it stand out from the crowd. Standard features include a bold spindle grille, triple beam LED headlights, a power liftgate, and a distinctive LED blade taillight. The base LX has 20-inch alloy wheels, while the LX Premium and above adds a hands-free, kick-sensor liftgate.
The LX 600 F Sport features unique exterior styling, with exclusive front and rear fascias, a black chrome-framed mesh grille, and 22-inch forged F Sport alloy wheels. You can choose the F Sport in exclusive Ultra White or Black Onyx exterior colors. The LX Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims each has model-specific 22-inch wheels.
Exhilarating Power and Performance
Under the LX 600’s hood is a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine that generates 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. That’s a significant power increase over the previous generation’s 5.7-liter V-8, which delivered 383 horsepower and 403 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 is mated to a 10-speed direct-shift automatic transmission.
The LX 600 comes standard with a full-time four-wheel-drive system with high and low ranges and an electronic locking central differential. Off-road technologies include crawl control and multi-terrain select. Available active height control and adaptive variable suspension provide more composed handling on- and off-road.
The LX 600 F Sport offers even more enhanced stability, cornering, and traction. With its uniquely tuned suspension, performance front and rear dampers, rear stabilizer bar, and Torsen limited-slip differential, the F Sport provides the most scintillating performance for an LX.
All LX models come standard with a tow package and hitch that give you a maximum towing capacity of 8,000 pounds. Standard trailer-sway control helps keep your trailer on track.
Indulgent Interior
The spacious cabin of the standard LX trim offers leather upholstery and five-passenger seating with its 60/40-split folding second-row bench seat. Premium, Luxury, and F Sport models add a third row and seat seven people in comfort. In a first for the LX, the 50/50-split third-row seats automatically fold flat into the floor at the push of a button for increased cargo space. The power fold and tumble second-row seats provide easy access for third-row passengers.
In the LX, you’ll find interior features that include elegant open-pore wood trim, heated front seats with memory functions, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, eight-way power passenger seat, a power tilting and telescoping steering column, and quad-zone automatic climate control.
The LX Premium trim offers heated and ventilated front seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. With thematic ambient lighting, you can customize the interior ambiance to suit your mood.
The F Sport Handling has an exclusive race-inspired interior with Circuit Red or black semi-aniline leather upholstery and Hadori aluminum trim. The seats feature F Sport embossed headrests and enhanced bolsters for superior support through corners. The F Sport also offers unique aluminum sports pedals and illuminated door sills.
Stepping up to the LX Luxury trim gets you ventilated second-row seats, rear sunshades, a heated leather and wood-trimmed steering wheel, and a cool box. One-touch auto-arrange seating enables you to fold down the second- and third-row seats with the simple touch of one button.
For the ultimate in luxurious refinement, the all-new LX 600 Ultra Luxury trim seats four people in its opulent semi-aniline, diamond-stitched leather seating with embossed headrests. The two spacious, heated, and ventilated rear captain’s chairs recline up to 48 degrees and offer a massaging function, a power-deployable footrest, a center console, and a personal tray table.
Intuitive Technology

The center console features a 12.3-inch touch-screen display for controlling the vehicle and infotainment systems. Below that is a 7-inch touch screen with the climate controls and a supplemental monitor for the multi-terrain system.
